I write, direct and produce.
Following my experience as an assistant in the camera department of 'Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince', I founded social enterprise film production company Signature Pictures.
I wanted to provide more disadvantaged young people with the transformative experience I had on that series of films. The idea was simple: to provide traineeships in every department of our film productions to unemployed, underrepresented and at risk young people.
To-date, I have produced 1,300+ commercials and 21 fiction films, which have themselves facilitated the training of over 500 young people (all from low-socioeconomic backgrounds; 60% being Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic). Those films have gone on to win awards at festivals across the world.
My work with Signature Pictures has also facilitated my own work as a writer/director. I have written and directed five short films, which have been selected at festivals such as Edinburgh, Cambridge and have premiered at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. My most recent work as a director was on a scripted series called 'Invisible Scars'.
Alongside my work as a writer/director, I am also a producer at multiple-award winning creative agency, Media Zoo, for whom I produced and directed the EVCOM 2022 Best Documentary Gold Award winner 'Building an Etopia'.
